Family Photography Gift Vouchers for €30 this Christmas

To celebrate the opening of the Gallery, I am pleased to announce a special limited availability Gift Voucher.

The Voucher costs €30 and gives you a full family portrait session, a viewing session and a 5×7 print. The session has to be taken before 31st March, 2011.

This is a great deal and the Vouchers make ideal gifts for Christmas.  So if you know someone who is long overdue a family portrait then this is the gift for them.

As usual the Portrait Sessions will take place in the family home (or outside if it’s warm enough).  It’s a normal session so it can cover a large family group or just some pictures of the kids – or both.

You’ll then be invited back to the Gallery to see you pictures and select your complimentary print.  You’ll be able to order more prints or other products at normal prices (although of course you’re under no obligation to do so).   There are a range of new products on show in the Gallery.

The normal terms and conditions apply but there are few additional things to note about these vouchers:

  • This offer applies to sessions taken before 31st March 2011.  The voucher cannot be used for a session after this date.
  • You can only view your images at the arranged view session: no on-line galleries will be provided with this promotion.
  • Travel to a location within an hour of the Gallery is included in the promotional price.

Note that if you don’t think the time limit on this voucher suits the person you’re buying for then you can purchase standard gift vouchers (which have no expiry) from €80.

End of Movember

Well done to all those guys who did their bit for Movember.  I hope you’re all enjoying your first day without Mo – those that aren’t tempted to keep it that it!

I was warned not to take part – it’s a great cause but I don’t think I could cope with the family exile that I would have to bear.

The Small Fella gave it a go for a while though – this has to count as the best effort from our house – for this year anyway!

The best we could do for Movember in our house

“Just a perfect day…”

It’s been a busy week.  I’ve a lot going on on different fronts and at times things have been a little stressful around here.

But today I got to play with (and photograph) five wonderful kids on a stunning Autumnal afternoon: warm sun;  dry, freshly fallen leaves;  kids running free and having a ball; me in the middle of it all taking pictures.

Sometimes I need to be reminded that I have the best job in the world.  Today was one of those days.

Thank you to the kids and Mums who met me in Fitzgerald’s Park today.  It was just what I needed.  Just perfect.

I’ll be posting some pictures from this and some of the other Autumn Model sessions shortly – watch this space.

Time Out

We’re just back from a fantastic week at Bosinver Farm Cottages in Cornwall.  Great trip.  It really is the perfect place to holiday with a young family – they couldn’t do anything more for you.

It’s been a long time since we were in Cornwall and there’s no shortage of things to do in the area.  But as usual the most memorable were the simplest: crabbing off the quay in Looe in the lashing rain (8 crabs caught in 30 mins – lots more got away); feeding the animals at Bosinver everyday; fish and chips on the quay at Mevagissy.

And of course – the zip wire at Bosinver:

Lots more pictures to work through including some lovely ones from animal feeding and of course the ‘boy with gigantic poo shovel’ picture from the pony riding day!  Keep an eye out on Facebook…

Looking for a Unique Family Portrait?

In time for the start of the summer holidays, I am pleased to announce the start of my Portfolio Programme.

The Programme is aimed at producing a range of unique family photographs based around a theme which is special to each family.

I want to talk to families with a shared passion for something – something which is personal to them and is a major feature in their lives on a regular basis.

Together we’ll use that as a theme for a family photo session featuring all the family and elements of whatever it is they do.  We’ll choose the location and the timing of the session to suit the theme.

Whether you’re mad into surfing, GAA, music or whatever, I want to hear your ideas for a family photograph with a difference.

As with previous promotions, I want to use these images for my own publicity on the web and in print. In return for your time, the session is free and you’ll get a framed print as well.

So before you head off to do whatever you do best this summer, think about whether you’d like some great pictures to remember it by.

Give me a call at 087 683 8511 or email me your ideas and we can come up with some great new family photographs.

More information, details and some more ideas are posted at https://roblambphoto.com/?page_id=488

Now this guy may be a little young for this programme – but you never know, he might make it one day…

Boys in the Park

More from the Spring sessions.  It seems like ages ago since I met Aoife and her boys in Fitzgerald’s Park.

Thanks again to Aoife and the Lads for a lovely morning in the Park.
